FAST shipment. I had asked about what appeared to be a stain on the brass at the edge of the coaster in the photo in t, but the seller said that all items were new. I believe that there were four of these still for sale. The one I received has old fingerprint marks in two places on the brass. They are not new and do not readily wipe off, but I think I can polish them off. A more fastidious description, at least by email, would have focused the seller on this particular item.

Only leaving a positive experience due to past history with this seller. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE this time as the item was NOT as described but was in fact a real artifact repackaged. Seller did offer a full refund upon return of the item due to the "misunderstanding" . I am keeping the historic item even thought the repackaging isn't authentic and the actual value is far less than I paid because it was not authentic historic packaging as represented.

Everything about this item was "as described." My description never stated that this item was packaged in authentic historical packaging... if the buyer thought so it was an assumption on his part. Apologizing for the misunderstanding, and offering a full refund (when I do not normally accept returns) is all I can do.
