eBay My World: cathy1751( 120)

I crochet, knit, tat, sew, paint, draw,have done a little quilting and some applique. I love to run off photos and work on them from the computer. I've added Disney characters and drawings to pictures of my Son. I just love to create.

I've sold a variety of things on ebay, quite a few of them are things I've made. Some have been custom made just for someone that emailed me with an idea and I ran a private auction for them, so don't be shy about asking. I also come across things that I've found that I thought would be great for ebay, sometimes it might be a book, sometimes a great pair of jeans or an interesting piece of jewelry. I've even sold an old gardening shovel. I'm always on the lookout and always coming up with ideas. I don't think of my ebaying as a business, it's more of a fun hobby I do in my spare time, plus I pretty much buy as much as I sell.

Well, just recently I bought a black and white movie of an old giant bug movie Tarantula. I watched it as a little kid on the late late show and wanted to share it with my son. A lot of the things I buy are centered around them. I've bought movies and books for both of them. Occasionally I buy yarn for myself.

As far as collecting goes, I collect more crochet thread and fabric than anything.

Doing things with my son always comes first, followed by....Crocheting, Knitting, Tatting, Sewing, Quilting, Embroidery, Drawing, Painting, Gardening, Fishing, Taking Pictures while going on Nature Walks, working on pictures on the computer, I have a variety of interests.

Right now the majority of books I've been reading have been books geared to the 7-10 year old age group. The deal is I read him a book or a chapter and he reads me one. As far as my own personal taste, I think the Bible has just about every life situation in it.

I like a lot of the old black and white movies, and John Wayne movies.

I like gospel, some folk, jazz, soul, rock, reggae, even classic, a little of everything, except profanity in the lyrics, that spoils it for me.

As stated before, I make a lot of the items I sell, but some are also things that have been given to me that I can't use, things I've found at stores and the occasional yard sale find that I thought might be something of some interest on ebay.

I take paypal, money orders and the occasional check, but if you send a check it has to clear before I send off your item.

I usually send first class. Sometimes if it's something old and I plan on putting a lot of wrapping around it I'll send out priority, but nothing is set in stone. If the buyer suggests a different method at the end of the auction, I usually go with that.
