Shogun, by James Clavell--very descriptive novel set in Japan. Not really that much of a reader. Love my subscription to Atomic Ranch! Also enjoy nature related poetry.

Number 1 give everyone the benefit of the doubt. You never know what someone is going through. Always try to be nice! Put away judgmental thoughts. It's not always easy to understand other people whose shoes we haven't walked in. The brain is not fully developed until around age 24 to 26, so young people especially need to be treated with patience! Old people have had it with everything, so they need patience, too. Number 2 animals are people, too. Well sorta. They need to be treated with love & dignity, even, as in the case of chickens or other meat, if we are going to eat them eventually. Give them a good life while it lasts.
