The fascination and mystique of handmade glass has been a lifelong attraction. The magic of creating an extraordinary piece of art from something so ordinary as glass is completely captivating.

All beads are handmade by me alone, Christina Catherine in my home-based studio. I work with many different varieties of glass including Effetre/Moretti, Bullseye, Lauscha and Satake on my single-fuel torch. I love to incorporate special effects into the glass, such as fine silver, dichroic glass, goldstone, copper, and enamels, whenever I can for added flair and interest. Once completed and flame polished, each and every bead is immediately placed into a preheated firebrick kiln which is digitally controlled to anneal the glass to perfection. This way you can expect to enjoy the brilliance and durability of my beads for many years to come. Upon removal from the mandrel, each bead is given a thorough bead-hole scrubbing to ensure no release is left behind for a professional finish. Every step that goes into making my beads is done with the utmost care and attention to detail using only the finest quality materials available.
