2 of 2 found this helpful I watched this movie in the theaters and knew right away I had to purchase the DVD. The story is a simple love story and the cast brings all the characters to life. If you like Knight's Tale, First Knight, & Kingdom of Heaven, this movie is around the same time period. I highly recommend this movie, you won't regret it.

1 of 1 found this helpful I have to be honest, at first when I watched it I didn't really understand it, I had to watch it about 3 times to really get it with the songs and dialogues. I love musicals, but this one is really different. Maybe because it was based on a time when HIV/AIDS was taboo to really talk about and most people were still ignorant of the disease. If you are homophobic, don't watch it. But is really a nice movie after you finally DO understand it. Songs were really good and who knew that Jesse L. Martin (from Law & Order) could sing so good.

The Way You Look Tonight
The story centers on Lily and James, they meet in Paris and fall in love. Seems like a perfect start, but because they are only in their early 20's Lily's cousin Jordan, and James' guardian Simon Grant, work together so that they can convince both of them to postpone their wedding. In the process, Jordan and Simon find that opposites do attract. But in truth, they aren't so opposite from each other, Jordan has a deep passion for life that Simon has also but it is locked deep inside him.
I recommend this book, it is light hearted and entertaining and a very good romance. I enjoyed this author's writing, it was colorful and imaginative.
