Possibly the best bang for the buck upgrade you can do.
I've been useing Western Digital VelociRaptor (WD3000GLFS)for over a year now and it is great. After switching from a WD Caviar drive to this one my boot times were cut in half! Applications load much faster. I've done memory and CPU upgrades but by far the most noticeable was switching to this drive.
SSDs may be the current king of the hill but they really are not much faster than this drive in every day use and they cost a hell of a lot more.

Best Shooter Ever
I love this game. I've played all the versions of Doom and Quake since the beginning and UT2003 is the best of all. I've been running a server for over two years with the best of UT2003 on it. Look for InhumanThor's server in the CTF online server listings in the game. I have UT2004 as well but I really prefer 2003. If you like first person shooters you will love this game. Once you learn the game go online for real fun. My favorite game is Capture the Flag for a challenge beyond just killing people.

It's a bell. You ring it when you want sex.* Much easier than yelling.
*Requires a willing sex partner. Bell can only do so much by itself.
