All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I've been making musical instruments for about 35 years. Most are made to order after we discuss it, but sometimes an instrument needs a home and is placed eBay. Feel free to e-mail me about your musical needs.

InterestsThe Instruments I Make.....
I enjoy creating fine hand-made instruments that are sometimes hard for musicians to find and that don't interest factories. I make one kind of Mountain Dulcimer people say is warmhearted for ballads and another type that's articulate for Celtic and Renaissance Music. Now and then I'll make a French Epinette. I also make a small-bodied guitar that's available as a Tenor, a Nylon Folk-Blues, and a silk and steel 12-String. I've used that body for a four-string in a rare South-American stringing that fingers chords like a 4-string guitar but gives a unique sound people like for a bedroom-guitar to play slow blues and love songs.
Business InformationHistory/background
I'm a trained musician and still perform Classical and Traditional Religious music. Sometimes I play Blues. The black-and-white photo of me is when I was 15. The color one is more recent.
Payment policy
I mostly use PayPal but can also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discovery cards.
My Instrument Philosophy
Tone and playability before gloss and glitter. I strive to make all my instruments sound the very best I can. I understand what the different tone woods give to the voice of an instrument.
My beginner's instruments are of fine but less-expensive tone woods. Advanced instruments have an additional investment in more exotic and figured woods and often with greater ornamentation.
Every instrument I make has high-quality tuners. Most often I use American-made Grover sealed high-ratio machines, which beginners love and permit advanced players to easily tune to the standards of the recording studio.
I also can provide the finest violin-family pegs of ebony, rosewood, or in Hill style. On Dulcimers these can get fine tuners at the bridge as an old-world refinement.
I Believe We Are A Community
I feel that adults who play music are very special and should own the best instrument they can. We work hard in life. Our music is a part of us we don't always let be seen. I think that beginners in particular should never have an instrument that holds them back. All players should have one that frees what's inside us...for their ourselves, our friends, family, loved ones, or maybe just the cat. Don't you think so too?
