Like many ebay sellers we are a small business and operate with personal standards. Virtually all of the merchandise we post on ebay is not brand new. Some items are genuine 100+ year old antiques, most pieces are between 20 - 60 years old and gently used. We always try our best to include accurate descriptions and pictures on our pages. We invite questions and answer them in a timely manner. We email clients when their payments arrive, give the transport details and ship orders within 48 hours of receiving payment. Satisfied and repeat clients are important to us.

We gladly accept PayPal, personal cheques and bank wire transfers.

We use our Canada Post mail or the carrier of our client's choice. We charge no handling and no processing fees. We always pack in sturdy corrugated boxes to properly protect against shipping damage. We use white newsprint, 1/2 inch bubble wrap and styrofoam chips for every order. Please be patient, although we send your order within 24 hours of receiving a cleared payment, the post office and international Customs can take 2 or more weeks to delay and deliver it. For lighter weight shipments, classified by Canada Post as Small Packets, no tracking numbers are issued. These shipments are also included in our CHINA4U BUYER PROTECTION COVERAGE.

CHINA4U BUYER PROTECTION COVERAGE is included with every purchase. At the buyers discretion, if we have identical replacement pieces to the damaged items we will ship them out. If the buyer prefers a cash refund, our cheque leaves within 48 hours. If you purchase anything from us and it arrives (or doesn't arrive) different from the way it was described I will refund 100% of your payment within 48 hours. We will never sluff off a claim and tell any of our clients to contact a 3rd party insurance company. It is our goal to have every transaction finish with a satisfied customer and their confidence to buy from us again.

All of the merchandise that leaves our place is insured against loss and / or breakage. UPS, Canada Post, FedEx and the other major courier companies will not insure porcelain, china, pottery and other fragile items for breakage.....I've read their small print. Even their coverage for loss has become a contentious issue. We've done many inquiries looking for a transport company which will cover this area but the end result has always been either, the premium they charge is disproportionately too high or the company insists on packing it in their facility at a price which is also absurd. As such we've adopted a policy of self-insurance, we are the insurer, we assume the responsibility. We invite you to read our ebay feedback comments, especially those dealing with packing & shipping. We take special care in wrapping and packing all of our fragile orders and stand behind each shipment.

Ebay makes it possible for small businesses like ours to send merchandise around the world. We've been fortunate to have made shipments to many different cities. Every country has their own unique and ever-changing set of Customs, duties and taxes. As a 2 person company, it is impossible for us to keep up-to-date on all duties, taxes and tariffs for all countries. It is our understanding that USA citizens can import US$200.00 worth of merchandise duty-free and without any brokerage fees.
