Thank you for sharing your horrible experience. I had a similar thing happen with a bag I sold. Such a shame that eBay doesn't protect sellers from scam artists like these. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to just get her off the site than to lose an amazing seller like yourself (with over 1,700 positive feedback ratings?!)

Further, in an effort to improve the eBay Community and to prevent other Sellers being scammed, I would urge all of you Sellers who have taken the time to read Christi's unfortunate experience to offer feedback to eBay and Paypal. eBay has an open door policy and welcomes any ideas & suggestions that you may have in order to make eBay a safer place. Christi, you are a one-in-a-million Seller & you clearly did not deserve this! You are undoubtedly a valuable asset to the eBay Community & on behalf of myself & many other eBayers, I would ask that you reconsider your decision to terminate. Hopefully, with the support of other Sellers, we can collectively submit ways to even out the playing field for both Seller & Buyer Protection.

Christi, I am so sorry to hear that you have been victimized by a bad Buyer! I am also appalled to learn that a Buyer can use, abuse, trash an item, & then file a Paypal Dispute & then be fully refunded after squishing the item into a shipping box other than the one it was received in causing more damage. This is not right - where is the Seller Protection? Paypal Resolution could have requested that the Buyer take this handbag to a Kooba Retailer and obtain a letter confirming that the zipper was non functional & that the weight was off. My recommendation is that eBay needs to make the following change to Selling Preferences: "Sellers with 98% + Fdbk should be permitted to block a Buyer who have purchased an item in exess of $100 & have a previous history of filed Paypal Disputes (i.e. 1,2,3,etc over a 6-12 mo. period." Christi, Don't let BARB get you down, she obviously is a scammer, look at her feedback. This is not a coincidence. Too many people rely on your help, guidance and good selling ethics to lose you to a buyer who obviously is trying to take advantage of you. This is sickening to me and this person should not be allowed to buy anything from anyone. I will personally vouch for your honesty, integrity and professionalism as will all of your prior buyers and sellers. All you have to do is ask. If everyone speaks up about this they will have to do something. Please let me know what I can do to help. This is not right and is so unfair. Good luck and Peace to you.
