Christine, I read your guide on fake handbags. I have experienced having my item removed due to suspicions that it was counterfeit. I am a personal seller, I never buy "fake" handbags and never have. My Louis Viutton bag is authentic and beautiful but no longer useful to me (I carry a diaper bag and proud of it, Vera Bradley of course). Why won't ebay answer my emails and help me to relist my item. I have other beautiful handbags as well but am too afraid to list now. I NEVER thought I would have this problem withh EBAY. I am a very small seller and only sell from my personal collection when I am done with the bag. HELP Jenpoo_98

Hi there I was reading with interest your comments on fake items. It is really informative and an eye-opener for me. I came across a posting for a chanel bag by one seller in my country. She claims to carry only authentic products and guess what, she literately copied comments on fake items from others to take it as hers as a form of cover-up. I come from the same country and do not know of any supplier carrying the brand except the retails shops in major shopping malls. I sent an email to enquiry about her source. As expected, there is no response to my email. I am disappointed as this person will tarnish the reputation of my country as a place for counterfits.

the guide is great and christine is beautiful ,I had a girlfriend that used to buy all the fake handbags etc and I lost respect for her,we need to respect other peoples trademarks and their unique products and not try to create fakes,Nothing beats the real thing,Jack

Christi - Thank you for championing this cause - I just have one concern. In your guides on how to report fakes, you leave little room for the honest seller who doesn't know their item is a fake. I work very hard to ensure my items are authentic, but have occasionally been stung, when even the Dillards retail "expert" passed my item as genuine! I only deal in resale, and do my very best.

Hi, I read your guide on counterfiet items and found very educational. Thanks for all the work you've put into it! Bob (libertys4ever)
