Very pleased with 4S 64GB purchased used from eBay

I made a huge leap from a 1st generation iPod touch to this iPhone 4S and it is wonderful. The 1st gen iTouch could not upgrade iOS any further and lots of apps would not install due to older iOS. The 4S phone is fast (obviously I am comparing to 1st gen touch), but I also love such feature as the linking feature to build a calendar event from an e-mail that contains a date and time (date and time in e-mail show as link, click link, create calendar event, cool!). Quickly add a new Contact in similar way. I got a 4S for my wife also (she upgraded from a more recent iTouch 64GB). Not as big of an upgrade leap for her, but she likes her 4S a lot. Also, I am so glad I went with a 64GB. I am filling it up with free apps and other stuff (pictures, video, etc.). Glad to have the extra room. Was already on PagePlus. Had to find a local dealer to activate ($15 each phone). Have the $12 plan with low data limit, but went the first month without using any data (wifi at work, home, and shops was fine for me). I keep the Cellular Data setting turned off until I need it--with no "bleeding" of data for push notifications or whatever they are. Totally in control of data usage--great! Tested data download at the end of payment cycle. Saw some usage, not too bad for Siri and some GPS. Have LEAF Electric Vehicle. Posted a PlugShare entry at a charging station for about .2 MB--not bad. Nice to have a little 3G access for GPS, Siri, PlugShare, etc--if I need it. I don't download videos to watch or play movies--too busy for that stuff. The 4S is great tool, has some nifty apps (education, language, etc.--this is what I need--not a gamer), and brings me up-to-date technology-wise without spending a huge monthly mobile phone bill. Very pleased with my used eBay purchase. Do your best to make sure a used iPhone has a clean ESN. Don't bother calling PagePlus or chatting to request activation of a 4S (they can activate a 4-only, but I wanted Siri). Find a local dealer, or you could try one of the eBay activation vendors/sellers. My concern about them is that they might "sell my phone number" and then I would get a lot of calls. I did not research their privacy policies. 15 bucks at the local dealer was clean, saved me time, and I was on my way. Put your research time into finding the right iPhone and price for you.
