I have been a Amateur radio operator for ten years. I have owned everything from a TS-520 to TS-480SAT with a few Yeasus too. I only purchase radios that are in top condition and I do not mind paying extra for that quality, for I believe you get what you pay for. I use them for a while and then sell them unless I really like them. I also like to build my antennas and always looking for another antenna design. I like to fly radio controlled airplanes, I do not buy too many of them because they are expensive. I like to observe severe weather for the National Weather Service and I look forward to my retirement year where I plan to become a storm chaser, for a while anyway. Family is important to me and spending time with my dog is special.Spending time with friends is great! And gabbing on my radios is my speciality.
