Perfect for what it is
Great little PC. I mean come on. It's amazing what we have available to us these days. Want to add an entire Win10 system to your TV? This is perfect for it. HDMI to the receiver with some wireless key+mouse and you're set. Powerful enough to multitask and get around on the web. Sooooo many nifty uses for it. Almost in the realm of a RaspberryPI as far as creative versatility.
Enough about that. I replaced my mom's 4th grn i7 laptop with this guy and a new screen in her office. It's a perfect fit.
Full disclosure it is a bit loud. The fan can kick up when you get going on it. If you're watching a movie or listening to music it is easy to overpower the sound. So I wouldn't say it disturbs the entertainment offering. But if you're just running a few programs that heats it up you might be annoyed with the background fan. It's nothing new to us and drowns out into the white noise background sound so nbd for what I'm using it for. So compared to passive cooling solutions you can nail on a PI for silence you would have to get crafty to do with this box.
