Collier, Sr., the store was originally named Simpson Collier Hardware. The store serviced the areas of Ft. Lauderdale, Wilton Manors and Pompano Beach. For over 34 years Collier has been established in Oakland Park, Florida, and has played a leading role in the hardware and home improvement market in South Florida. At the time it was opened, Simpson Collier Hardware occupied the space next to Floranada Drugs on NE 45th Street. As time passed, it expanded into the drugstore space, growing to what it is today.
