History/background
Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network is a National Not-For-Profit 501(c)3 rescue organization that was formed to rescue purebred Cairn Terriers and Cairn Terrier mixes. CPCRN facilitates the pick-up and transport of these dogs, arranges for their spay/neuter in addition to other appropriate veterinary care, rehabs and fosters and then seeks applications and screens permanent forever homes and facilitates their adoption. We educate the public about rescue in general and responsible Cairn Terrier care and ownership. We are not a business. We have no paid employees. We are all volunteers.

colonel potter cairn terrier rescue-saving one dog at a time by many many wonderful people volunteering to do what it takes to get each & every foster to its forever home...from home visits, to background checks & after adoption follow-up calls, to foster mentoring, to fundraisers, to shelter 'pulls', to taking in & letting go...sharing wild joys & heart aches & breaks..each foster is unique and is thought of that way by these great people..please take time to read about each of the dogs in currently in foster care waiting for their forever homes. please share in the joy & celebration when one is adopted. please say a small prayer for the ones that dont quite make it 'home'.
