For over 30 years we have used UPS services with great results virtually trouble and problem free. It has always been the preferred shipping method of choice as all orders were easily track-able and insured for $100.00 as part of there services. With the new rates and shipping surcharges as well as additional costs of shipping to residential homes, we have decided to offer USPS as an alternate means of shipping. This is still in the workings to iron out any problems and to get fully established. But think this may be the cheaper way for our customers. We will be starting out using this only when requested by the customer but must include insurance and delivery confirmation as well as shipped to a confirmed address. We think on smaller and heavier items that can be shipped in flat rate boxes will be the best economical way of shipping. If all works well with this, then we will offer this as our main means of shipping in the near future as well as offering international shipping.

We have been in business since 1978 primarily in the automotive restoration parts industrie. We have manufactured many parts exclusively over the years. In setting up our facility we had purchased many businesses for there inventory or equipment as complete buy outs. This has always given us extra surplus needs of inventory, equipment, as well as other non associated items that we have no use or needs for as well as having to purchase large lots in order to get a single item for our own use. We use eBay and other sources to liquidate these items thru. Very rarely do we promote our standard store inventory in these market places. We have different locations of inventory. Most items can be picked up during our business hours at our Warwick RI 02889 location at the main corner intersection of 2095 West Shore Road and Oakland Beach Avenue.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover thru our store. We accept Pay Pal and Certified bank checks or money orders thru US banks. All payments are subject to be shipped to a confirmed shipping address only. We do not ship to a third party at all. This is to protect the customer as well as us. Naturally, we always accept cash in person, never thru the mail.

We ship ground to the 48 continuous continental United States by UPS ground. The shipping calculator is sometimes off for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and others as they use a different formula as dimensional weight instead of actual weight. These are subject to be corrected. We only use UPS shipping services for ground shipping at this time. We also offer combined shipping whenever possible as items can be combined and shipped together. Some items do to size or weight limitations may not be able to combined shipped, but is rarely the case. Combined shipping can save substantial money especially on the smaller type items only when shipped and packaged at the same time. When using combined shipping do not pay until you have bought all your items. We may not be able to combine ship on multiple paid SEPERATE ORDERS. TRUCK FREIGHT: We ship truck freight only to the continuous continental United States Only. No other areas. We usually have a separate policy regarding Truck Freight items.

Returns vary on every item. We accept returns on items shipped in error when we have made a gross error. We try and be as fair as possible and see the customers point of view when ever any problem. But, when an item is stated unknown, untested, or sold as is/no returns this is a red flag to read the full description of the item and beware as there are no returns on these type items at all. Returns can really have an impact on any business and can be more costly to process. In order to keep prices down we usually will state in the item listing if it is returnable or not. Sometimes it may be a one of a kind item that we may not have replacements for or is a close out/discontinued or even blemished/damaged (Always Described in listing) item that we are cutting our losses with and we do not factor in the extra costs associated. All shipping expense is the customers responsibility unless we approve it in advance and may not be recoverable. Some returns may be subject to restocking fees.

Pricing is not as easy as it would seem. Small dollar items are the most difficult as they eat up a lot of labor to produce creating the ad with description, ad location or category, shipping specifications with weight and size, layout, Internet research of applications and specifications, creating the pricing of an item to be able to sell it. Typically an hour of labor time is typical per ad. An single average item of selling it for $25.00 with our cost of labor of listing it with the cost of advertising and final sales fees with the additional percentage of PayPal or credit card fees typically we net about $10.00 without including the original cost of the item and our overhead. Most of the time it is a break even or a loss to sell smaller dollar items for us here. Then we typically pay someone to pull the item and package the item properly so we do not get damages and send the customer a email thanking them and providing a shipping confirmation with tracking # this takes 45 mins of

Maintenance people for general maintenance as well as other chores. General labors. People with shipping experience for shipping and recieving. Hours are very flexible and we can usually work around your schedule to make it a pleasing job. Full time, part time, as well as just a couple days is OK. Compensation varies, some positions are hourly wage and other positions on a commission basis on what is produced where you work at your own leisure with no pressures. These positions are only available for local people to travel to our business as we currently do not offer any off premise work.
