I am currently taking care of my elderly mother, who resides with my husband of twentyone years and myself. I have four children, who have in turn blessed me with seven grandchildren. A new one is on the way. It has always been a goal of mine to own and operate a store, leaving a legacy for my family. EBay makes this possible, as taking care of my mother is a full-time job. I am able to do what I love in my free time. As I have expanded the store, shipping demands offered my hubby a new little hobby, packing and shipping. I do my best to include everyone in my family, from treasure hunting to tri-weekly shipping. My favorite is when we build memories in this way together. My plan is to continue this for many more great years.
Business InformationHistory/background
I began making my own crafts in 1979. In 1983, I began to design my own doll clothes and sold them at flea-markets and bazaars locally. I won first and second place for my unique designs. In 1986, I married an amazing man who shared my love for antiques and collectibles, hence the birth of Connor's Creation. We dreamed of a store together, however with our family and work schedules this was next to impossible. I continued to make crafts in my free time dreaming of the day we would have the store. I even made a doll dress replicating my wedding dress, and bridesmaid's dress. In 2001, my daughter showed me eBay and helped me to set up a way to sell my crafts and collectibles. During this time I expanded to include a store. In 2003 I had to take some time to care for my mother moving out of my home into hers. In 2005, we relocated to be near my daughter and son in Michigan freeing me to jump back on the horse. I'm now back to fully operational, expanding to include international shipping.
Payment policy
I prefer Paypal. Money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks will, also, be accepted. Please let me know which payment method you will be using. Personal checks will be held until the funds clear. All items will be shipped out within three business days of receiving a cleared payment. If you don't contact me within seven days from the date of sale, an unpaid notice will be filed with ebay. I will wait extra time if I know that the payment is in the mail. Please do not send cash.
International buyers can use Paypal or money orders in US funds. Personal checks will not be allowed, as currency rates change, and the bank adds extra fees for cashing them. Please do not send cash.
Shipping information
All items are shipped within three business days after receiving a cleared payment. Within the U.S.A., I ship via the United States Post Office via First Class Mail. Contact me if you need Priority mail or Overnight mail, as additional fees may be added. Insurance is optional at $1.65 for up to $49.00 of coverage. Standard insurance rates are charged when over $50.00.
Seller is NOT responsible for lost or damaged merchandise if insurance is not purchased. Delivery confirmation can be added for an additional $0.75. I can email you to give you your tracking number.
International items will be shipped via the United States Post Office Airmail Letter Post which takes four to seven days to reach their destination. I can ship by economy if needed, but that takes four to six weeks to get there. If insurance or extras are needed, let me know so that I can research what services are available for your particular country. Each country has different rules and regulations and fees.
Return policy
Absolutely NO refunds. Please read the description carefully. All items are sold AS IS. Ask questions before you bid or buy-it-now. I describe the items to the best of my ability. My husband rechecks all of the items before he packages them. He, also, wraps them very carefully. I can not control what happens at the United States Post Office after I leave the packages there.
