Business InformationHistory/background
I started my company in April, 2002, right after the birth of my oldest daughter where I sold my unique groceries online and at a local Sunday farmers' market. I have been doing this now into my sixth year and I have not lost my passion to offer some of the highest quality food and natural house-and-home items on the planet! Since Conscious Cookery has been around, I have become a mother of two beautiful young daughters, my husband and I now pay on a mortgage instead of rent, gas and food prices have skyrocketed, and well, so much more. Even amongst these life changes, my core values have not changed.

Shipping information
I try to ship out items within 5 business days. Sometimes there are delays, especially with larger than expected sales volume, or just with everyday this-and-that's with a young family. If you have a question or inquiry about shipping, please feel free to ask me and I will get back to you just as soon as I can. I am always fair about shipping - I don't overcharge to compensate, and I try my hardest to offer flat rate shipping whenever possible. International shipments are mostly sent First Class International Mail, unless they weigh over 4 pounds, then I send them Priority Mail International. Express Mail is available on all items, but there are additional charges, please inquire within.
Return policy
I want you to be happy and delighted with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please inquire within about possible exchanges and/or merchandise credits that could be applied. Returns within 7 days upon receipt are also available on all non-food and UNOPENED food items. Seller is responsible for all shipping costs associated with product returns. A refund minus the initial shipping costs, eBay fees, and PayPal processing fees will be credited back to the buyer's PayPal account within 3 business days after receipt by seller. Unfortunately, I cannot refund money back on OPENED food and beverage items.

Special Requests
If you have a special request, such as a special order for a large quantity of an item in the Conscious Cookery eBay store, please contact me by email through the store with the request and I will work with you to obtain that certain quantity of that item, a shipping quote, as well as instructions how to purchase the item(s) through the Conscious Cookery eBay store.
International Customs Declaration
Most items within the Conscious Cookery eBay store are available for purchase and for shipment worldwide. As a buyer, it is important to be aware of what customs charges may apply for your country and product before you bid or purchase your item. Certain items are not permitted in various countries. It is the buyer AND the seller's responsibility to comply with government regulations or laws of each country.
All international buyers are responsible for all VAT, customs, duties and other fees that may be incurred with the purchase. PLEASE, do NOT ask me to write GIFT on the customs form when it is NOT A GIFT, and please do NOT ask me to adjust the value of your purchase so you don't have to pay tax on the items coming into your country.
I appreciate the international business, however, please honor the request for me not to be dishonest and to put my business and being into jeopardy with the law in regards to customs regulations.
