My name is Shannon Nicholas. I am 35 years old and the mother of two beautiful girls.I have been sculpting since April 2002.

I am frequently asked about my training. My art education is self-taught, but my creative interest began early in my youth due to the encouragement and creative influence of my Mother who is an accomplished artist.Growing up, I was always encouraged to explore and be creative. I find that this is something I am happy to do for my own children. It has been enjoyable learning the art of sculpting, and I find I draw comfort from each doll I create. Being able to sculpt is enjoyable and therapeutic for me. Few things are more precious than babies and I am grateful everyday that God has allowed me this outlet. I am thrilled to share it with all of you. I want to sincerely thank ALL of my fabulous customers and friends who have supported me these past several years!

These handcrafted dolls are lovingly created and every attention is paid to details. I use only fine quality polymer clays and molds are not used. Each doll is blushed before baking in all the right places for a realistic skin tone. Tiny finger and toe nails are painstakingly sculpted for realism. I use English Viscose or Tebetian lamb for the hair, and it is applied lock by lock. All clothes, blankets and hats are handmade by me as well.
