OceanFlava
I grew up as the oldest of two girls in California, spending the better years as a child in Humboldt County on the North Coast of Cali. We moved to Southern Cali when I was twelve and I never liked it. I did my best to not be like any of the kids there and fully embraced the counterculture in my teenage years. My mom taught me to sew at age Seven when I was first a Girl Scout. I really picked it back up when I was 18 and saw the beautiful dresses the Dead Head girls were wearing. I didn't realize they made their own, but did realize that I could make mine, so away I went. Later that year in my travels I realized that I could make money with them, so I started selling what I could whenever I got to stay somewhere with a sewing machine long enough to put some gear together. Now that I'm back into it I'm challenging myself regularly to bring new and improved heady handmades to you and your family!
Business InformationHistory/background
www.OceanFlava.com started in 2006 when I decided to bring my goods to the online market. I'm still fine tuning my business, so keep checking back to see what has improved and what's new. I started on eBay in October of 2005. Thanks everybody for your support!
Payment policy
PayPal is preferred, and I don't like e-checks. I won't turn one down, but if you can avoid sending me one, please just send an instant payment. I also accept POSTAL money orders (from the post office). If you can't get to the post office during business hours, then let me know and a Western Union or Money Gram will be sufficient. But I ship a day sooner if it's a postal money order.
Shipping information
I do my best to ship within two business days. If I don't have cash on hand and you paypal me, I may have to wait until it clears into my bank, but that is rare and I will keep in contact. Money orders ship as soon as they're recieved if they are from the post office. I cash the money order at the same time I ship.
Return policy
I don't accept returns. I am very detailed in my descriptions, including measurements. Please look CLOSELY at item descriptions. If there is a mistake in my stitching, or seams come loose within 30 days, I will make repairs.
