Hi! My name is Cyndy and I have been an artist and crafter for my whole life. Right now I am creating handmade greeting cards that are my creations. I am also preparing to take my finals to become a certified gemologist. Wish my luck.

Currently for sale are a few of my greeting cards and a new photo album. I will be adding more of my handcrafted items, including jewelry, as I become a little more familiar with selling on eBay.

Where to start. I collect elephant statuary but I also hit the thrift stores weekly looking for things that with a little work and imagination can be something interesting. Like the cast iron, pot belly stove that is now a fun planter. No! I didn't find the stove on eBay. Imagine the shipping charges.

I am currently reading eat, pray, love by Elizabeth Gilbert (no relation) but as I mentioned I am studying to take my finals to become a certified gemologist.

Comedyies, murder mysteries, love stories and some action to round things out.

Again I have a wide range of what I enjoy. R&B, classic, music from the 20's to the 80's, Celtic, Native American. Maybe it would be better to tell you what I don't like. Rap, load, screaming profanity type music, Boom box style music.

I am a born and raised southern California girl that is 52.I have done a lot of things in my life but my primary line of work has been as a nurse working in Hospice care. For 23 years I would go into a cancer victums home prepare the patient and the family for the death process. I would not leave until the end giving as much dignity as possible to the person I was taking care of. No, I no longer do this type of work. I am looking at being an appraiser of jewelry to finish out my life. Of course my art and crafts will be included always.

O.K. it has been several months of selling on eBay and I am having so much fun meeting different people and learning new technics and designs. Things happened a lot faster then I expected.
