I have been making dolls since I was seven,way back in the Dark Ages.My current interests are with the OOAK dolls in the 11.5-16in range. I do it all. Reroots,repaints,OOAK costuming,fashioning props,making bases to create a 'persona' for each doll.

I concentrate on dolls but you may find craft items, collectibles, electronics and books from time to time.

Mostly -raw- materials, that is to say, dolls for my canvases, fabrics, novelty items to incorporate into my dolls to add personality, character and content.

Many kinds of embroidery including silk ribbon and forms of cross stitching and other needlecraft. Painting, making decorative boxes, quilling, and reading to keep up with all of the above.

Classics, books on words, definitions, origins, uses, almost any Dictionary. True stories, books to build my crafting techniques and abilities.

The King & I, The Hunt For Red October, Medicine Man, Starman. Movies with Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, Doris Day & Rock Hudson, Kate Hepburn & Spence Tracy, any movie with lots of Dancing!!! Independent Film Channel and Sundance are my favorite channels on Cable.

Big Band Sounds from the 30's & 40's, Billy Holiday, Billy Eckstine, Sinatra, Bennet, etc. 50's & 60's Rock & Roll, Elvis, Elton John, Queen, Culture Club, it is very ecclectic. Classic remakes with Rod Stewart, any of the Duets CD's, some classical especially, Bolero.

I am a reality show junkie & fav's Project Runway (what else?), Next Top Model (of course), Top Chef, Apprentice, Dancing with the Stars & American Idol. Others are first & foremost HOUSE, all the Law & Order, new, Shark. Oh Yes, Real Time with Bill Maher.

I am like Peter Pan & I have never grown up and have no immediate intention of doing so. Making dolls and making others happy with them makes me happy. I have been competing in various doll venues since the 80's like miniatures and porcelain doll reproductions & currently in the field of OOAK dolls. I taught porcelain doll making for several years and I have an impressive collection of ribbons and awards for my dolly endeavors along with the most important awards, letters and notes from delighted customer who have purchased my dolls. I have been fortunate to have had all my commissioned work recieved extremely well with very happy customers.

As I said, I am from the Dark Ages, but trying to age gracefully and with good humor. I come from a creative background, my Father was a Master Tailor by profession. He was a pattern maker and factory manager so that may be where I come by some of my talent. I have been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively as my husband had a job that required it for about 10 years so I have been exposed to many different cultures and fashions which I hope creeps over into my designs. I really love my work and I hope that it filters over into the finished product so that viewers and buyers feel it also.

I will ship within 3 days of receipt of payment. That is barring any impediment such as the 3rd day being a Sunday or official Holiday when the Post Office is closed. I will only ship to confirmed addresses if payment is made via PayPal. Insurance is Optional HOWEVER< I cannot and will not guarantee any item, shipment or lack of delivery on an item that has not been insured as part of the purchase. So the buyer may make his/her choice on that matter but if there is No Insurance and it is lost, damaged or whatever, I WILL NOT reimburse from my own pocket. Insurance is relatively inexpesive so I think it is alway worth paying the extra $$$ to be sure you are not on the losing end if a mishap takes place. There will be the small fee for Delivery Confirmation included in the S & H cost. I will ship USPS PRIORITY MAIL. To date I am not shipping outside the USA except for Canada. Hopefully I will change that soon also.

When I ship an item to you, it WILL be in pristine condition. If it arrives damaged, you MUST provide a photograph of the delivery and damaged condition of the box BEFORE it has been opened. If you have purchased insureance, a claim can be filed with the carrier. If you have chosen NOT to purchase insurance there is No Return. All Sales Are Final but if you experience a problem, please feel free to contact me with information so we can discuss the issue for a determination.

You may contact me via eBay Contact Seller option. Be sure that you do not make your email addy unavailable or I won't be able to respond. I am on and off the computer several times a day so in most cases, I will probably get back to you the same day. The only time I may not is on the weekend from 6:00 pm Friday til 6:00 am on Monday if I am engaged or if we are in different time frames. I am on EST and for anyone who is in the West, I could be asleep by the time you send your email. LOL So I will get it when I arise in the morning.
