5 Pcs Plastic RJ45 8P8C Female to Female Ethernet Connector Couplers K

gets the job done
Bought these to connect 2 ethernet cables end to end to make a long run to hook up the tv directly rather than via wifii. I only needed one, but figured a good deal to get the extras. Plugged the cables into one, but then had to unplug as I was running the wire, and the first one just pulled apart. They are basically 2 pieces of plastic that snap together over the 8 little wire contacts. When it pulled apart, I could reassemble it, but wouldn't trust it not to pull apart again or make good connection. I could have taped or glued it if I needed to, but instead, I just used one of the other 5 that I got. That one stayed together even if I tugged on the cables. I didn't test the other three, but atleast one bad out of 5. For the price, however, they are a good deal, and all would be functional, even the one that pulled apart if I taped it back together. So may not be of highest quality, but they do work, and the TV gets internet via the wire now, so work as they should.

Beefed up good?
This part was close to, but not identical to the original. My original broke by splitting around the main large bearing. The replacement looks better made, as the bearing is pressed into one side and clipped in, leaving a little more metal on the inner side of the bearing, as opposed to the old one in which the bearing looked to be pressed in from either side, no clip to hold in and no lip. The new design has that extra metal of the lip, so I assume it is stronger. It installed easily, and functions as it should, so saw works again. However, at higher speed, there is more vibration than there used to be. Not sure if it requires a slightly different counter weight on the motor to account for extra metal in this piece, or if something else is happening. In any case, it gets the saw working again :)
