Just checking in....Tried something new today... an explosion box.. its kinda cute and I may end up making more for my children to document their children's halloween.
Have been thinking about how amazing this world wide web is. How incredible is it that we can meet so many people, particularly people with the same interests, as we do on the internet. Halloween is coming...Surely you bloggers need a handmade halloween card or two. I've got a card ending today and in a couple of days really cute free standing pop up cards. Of course, there are other cards, too.
Pictures don't do the cards justice. In real life the colors and papers are really nice and the overall feel of the card and its heft compared to store bought is so nice. A great day and new card up!Got myself a new granddaughter today! That's 2 new granddaughters in the last 8 weeks, for a total of 4 grandchildren (all girls) under the age of 3!! This little girl was 3 weeks early and only 5#4. The little girl born less than 8 weeks ago had open heart surgery on her 6 week birthday and is home and doing fantastic! So I went to visit babies today and then came home tonight to work on this card and I think it came out really well, using fibers for the bird's nest..Jul-26-08 20:17:37 PDTComments 2

There's not a whole lot to say about me. I'm single, I'm a mother and a grandmother. I work full time and volunteer several hours a week at the local medical clinic. I love to create and have discovered that papercrafting is my favorite.
