The Birds (DVD, Collector's Edition)
1 of 1 found this helpful When I watched this movie for the first time in the 1960's, this Alfred Hitchcock thriller was considered a horror film. Because of the advances in high tech visual effects, it now seems mild - but a work of art, still suspenseful and romantic. My pre-teen daughter loves it and has watched it repeatedly. The color enhancement is "pretty" but I think it should also be viewed in the original black and white and compared. This movie is a classic.
