Terrible Movie

The only way the movie would have worked is if they had spent more time making the audience sympathetic to Gerard Butler's Character/Family. In order to do that the movie would have been longer, but it would have been worth it, and Gerard would have had more dialogue.
The production value of the filming was terrible, and jerky. Kyra Sedgwick's portrayal of a reporter was one of the few well played roles, but why did she have more makeup than Tammy Fae? I have seen much better from Gerard Butler, John Leguizamo, Ludacris, & many others who appear in this film, I blame the Writer's, not the Actor's!
The violence/blood was to be expected from the ads, and I have seen gorier movies, Starship Troopers to name one, but Starship Troopers was 35 minutes longer than "Gamer", allowing for much more character development.
The movie is rated R, but if you appreciate the scenes showing Women's Breasts you are probably a 12-16 Boy who should not be viewing it anyway.
If this Movie is still something you want to see after reading this review, #1 enjoy the scenes with the obese player, #2 seek help.
I'm going to consult a Professional Hypnotist to see if I can have the memory of Gamer suppressed, with the contingency that any desire to view it again is removed as well, I would hate to be paying the Hypnotist again in 6 months.
