I am a firefighter and my wife is currently working as a teachers aid. We work things out pretty well. I take the photos and she does the listings and most of the communication's, questions, etc. I then do the packing and shipping.

Well we buy what we need for gifts, hobbies, home, projects, etc. We do this with we earn here.

We started selling things from around the house to cut down on clutter, as previously stated it seemed like a better option than having a garage sale every few years. Kids grow out of clothes and toys. They grow and change so fast they do not get a chance to wear out much of anything for the most part. This gave us an opportunity to sell the things they outgrow.

I try and ship within two or three days of receiving payment. My job doesn’t allow me to do that all of the time. I do my best to keep it under five days. We use the USPS because we have had pretty good service from them. If they keep raising their rates we may have to look else ware, or stop selling our lower cost items, it would no longer make sense for us to sell something if it can be bought at a store for the same or a lesser price when factoring in shipping. KEEP IN MIND THE U.S. POST OFFICE LARGELY DICTATES SHIPING COSTS!!!. WE ADD A SMALL FEE TO COVER TAPE, PACKING PEANUTS, PRINTER INK, PAPER. MOST OF WHAT WE SELL IS ONLY A FEW DOLLARS AND BARELY COVERS THE EBAYAND PAYPAY FEES. THE ONLY WAY WE STAY AFLOAT IS TO CHARGE TO COVER SHIPPING SUPPLIES.
