Good product, but need to have a 1/4 to 3/8 screw adapter
The ball head is made of all metal, and it is easy to use. Everything is great, except that it only takes 3/8” bolt. All my tripod takes 1/4”, so I have to order another set of 1/4 to 3/8 screw adapter in order to make it work.

Cheap but working just fine
It works just fine with my canon 50 mm. It not only enhance the pictures, but probably more importantly, it helps protect the front element of the lens. Many owners may have heard that Canon 50 mm 1.4 USM has a fragile front element that houses the USM motor.
