I've always loved jewelry and I love e-bay. It was a marriage made in heaven for my retirement.

I sell vintage costume jewelry; names such as Trifari, Coro, Lisner, Sarah Coventry, Marvella, Weiss, Monet and more. Items include vintage rhinestone brooches and pins, vintage bracelets, vintage necklaces of beads, rhinestones, stone, imitation pearls, earrings in styles like button earrings, chandelier earrings, rhinestone earrings, and the occasional charm bracelet.

Of course I also buy vintage costume jewelry for my personal collection as well as many, many other things. I'm an avid cropper (scrapbooker) and buy most of my supplies on e-bay.

I collect anything books and, of course, jewelry. Some of my favorite authors include Janet Evanovitch, Jim Butcher, Anne McCaffrey, James Patterson, Nora Roberts and way too many more to name. Have literally hundreds of books and sell my overflow on half.com.

I love to crop with my girlfriends, go to Las Vegas and see the world.

I read several books a week, so it's hard to pin down just one. The most memorable ones all seem to have won the Pulitzer Prize.

The Princess Bride, Happy Feet and anything with Hugh Jackman. I confess to being an action movie fan more than anything else.

I'm a Parrothead, love rock, zydeco, classical, opera, among others.

All the CSI's, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, and I admit to the guilty pleasure of American Idol.

I love to travel and love e-bay for that very reason - I just take the store with me. Most recently we spent two weeks in Europe. One week was spent at a rented villa in Tuscany in an 11th C. village with the whole family. It was the trip of a lifetime.

My mother worked in a jewelry company when I was a child and would bring home flawed stones. I would use diamonds, rubies, emeralds, amethysts and other precious stones as toys and I guess I still am. I've been collecting jewelry ever since then. In addition to being an avid collector I've taken many classes on jewelry and appraisal. However, except for my wedding and engagement rings, I almost never wear jewelry. Prior to retirement, I worked for a Fortune 100 Corporation with their art collection.

I ship everything first class mail and charge a flat fee for shipping to try to keep my shipping costs down. At the same time, I believe in quality shipping for my products. Everything is shipped in a pretty new box, with extra padding in a bubble mailer. I combine shipping and ship the second item free. I also ship internationally and try to keep shipping costs down as much as possible. However, because of the inability to track shipments overseas, I must use Priority Mail when the value of the items gets to be around $25.

I'm really lenient about returns for full refunds. I think that if you couldn't examine something before you buy it, you should have the right to return it if it's not what you expected.
