Don't really watch movies anymore - A favorite of mine and Tiff's was Step Mom - she did some monologue from the movie - and I have happy memories from that. A sad movie to watch now.... It was kind of sad anyway - but really sad now. She and I had our girlfriend night and would rent a few movies, stay up late, eat junk etc... this was when her dad and brother were out or gone. We also watched movies as a family together.

Well, all that has changed too. I did not even watch TV for a year after Tiff died until my sister called me on 9/11/01 to tell me to turn the TV on. I then began watching again but can't handle anything sad, or even that I watched before or stupid which a lot of TV is! I watch mostly TLC, HGTV, Style and occasionally the news. Although the news is really too depressing so not too much:)

When my daughter Tiffany died all her friends wore pink ribbons in honor of her. Each year at any memorial in her honor at the school or the church they wore pink ribbons in HONOR of her life. The pink ribbon was a symbol of her friends grief and a way to HONOR her life and memory. A few months before Tiffany's death my grandmother (Tiff's great-grandmother) who was 81, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery and radiation and is cancer free as far as we know. She is a SURVIVOR and she is 90! One month after Tiffany died - my best friend Beverly was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 39. She had the most beautiful, compassionate, funny personalty you could imagine! She has 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. She lived 5 years almost to the day from when she was diagnosed. Just recently my younger sister-in-law was diagnosed and is in treatment - We will hold on to HOPE.

I have been an accountant for most of my life and self employed since March 1988. Basically I have lost most of my business after a tragedy in 2000.

I am mother of two - Tiffany (in heaven) and Eric who is now 29 with three beautiful children whom I am MiMi to - they are precious! I became a mother at a very young age of 17 1/2, which makes me a young Mimi too! I am also a wife to Max who has been with me forever it seems and puts up with me better than anyone else!! FYI - We have a non-profit corporation set up in memory of Tiffany. The non-profit issues scholarships to winning applications in the tri-county area in which we live. She had friends in all of these counties either through school, church youth, acting, gymnastics, cheerleading, or other various activities so we open it to the whole area. Applicants must meet high standards of character, academics, school and community involvement in order to be considered. They also must write an essay which is the deciding factor if they qualify.
