All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I believe in living green & don't want to see still useful items in a landfill. I love recycling & refinishing old things & giving them a new life. My dad was a furniture refinisher & he turned old pieces into works of art. I see beauty in old items.

Business InformationHistory/background
I started my own homebased home decor business in 2005. I am a former nurse and lack 2 hours for my law degree. I fell down and injured my back and had to withdraw from law school. I started sewing soft goods and painting wood items to indulge in my creative side and to relieve stress. I sold my first items at a craft mall in Houston. This year I decided to develop my own online store called Belcassihomedecor.com, which opens July 25, 2008. I also sell my items on Ebay and at a craft mall in Brenham, Texas.
Payment policy
I only accept payments through PayPal. Payments due within 48 hours of auction's end.
Shipping information
I usually ship items 48-72 hours after receiving cleared payment. I add a nominal packaging/handling fee to the shipping cost. shipping cost. I will combine shipping for non-breakable items as follows: Full shipping fee for the heaviest item and then 50% discount off the shipping cost for any additional items. NOTE: I reviewed my detailed ratings today (7/22/08) and it shows that buyers consider shippping and handling charges a little high. I do charge actual shipping charges plus a minimal handling fee. I will begin shipping non-breakable items in poly mailing bags to reduce the weight, and thus, hopefully, reduce the shipping charges. I will continue to charge a nominal handling fee because I do take the time to label, wrap with paper and bubble wrap and package items as securely as possible.
Contact information
Please email any questions at least 24 hours in advance of auction's end. Thanks!
Unpaid Items
According to eBay policy, placing a bid on a seller's items offered for auction is a contract where the bidder agrees to pay the seller if the bidder wins the auction. Please don't bid if you don't intend to pay. If you are a winning bidder, and you've changed your mind, contact me right away so we can mutually agree to cancel the transaction, so I can immediately offer the item to a second chance bidder or relist the item. If a winning bidder fails to pay, then I will file an unpaid item dispute 7 days after auction ends.
