DE review of "Old Flame/Dirty Looks" Juice Newton CD
The main reason that I decided to buy this release was due to the fact that "Dirty Looks" was FINALLY coming to CD, as Capitol Records only released this album in the cassette and LP formats when it originally came out in 1983. Besides the hits "Tell Her No" (#27 Pop), "Dirty Looks" (#90 Pop), and "Stranger At My Door" (#45 Country), there are also a couple of songs on here that became hits for other artists... "Till I Loved You" became a #10 country hit for the group Restless Heart in 1986, and "Twenty Years Ago" was a #2 country hit for Kenny Rogers later that same year. As for "Old Flame", this CD was long out of print after its last reissue in 1988, so I was thrilled to have this album on the release as well. The original RCA release from 1985 had "Let Your Woman Take Care Of You" as its last track, the second reissue from 1985 took out that song, and put "Both To Each Other (Friends And Lovers)" duet with Eddie Rabbitt in its place, while the 1988 reissue put "Let Your Woman Take Care Of You" back in, but took out "One Touch", and "With You" in the process, so to see the original track list PLUS the Eddie Rabbitt duet here is a HUGE improvement! "Old Flame" had five top 40 country hits on it, including "You Make Me Want To Make You Mine" (#1), "Hurt" (#1), "Old Flame" (#5), "Cheap Love" (which was a remake of an old Del Shannon song, #9), and "What Can I Do With My Heart (#9.) This release also features the covers Juice did of the Stealers Wheels hit "Stuck In The Middle With You", as well as The Byrds' "Feel A Whole Lot Better." Wounded Bird Records re-released "Old Flame" by itself in 2008, but if you want that release, PLUS "Dirty Looks" to boot, then this is the CD that is a MUST HAVE in any Juice Newton fans' music collection!

DE Review of 2 x Duracell Alkaline N LR1 1.5V batteries MN9100 E90 AM5 2 in Pack
This item is the PERFECT item if you own Crystal Legends collectible clocks, as that is what I use them for - beats the hell out of paying almost $9.00 for them in the store anyway! Highly recommended!

DE Review of Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK DVD Recorder
I use this DVD Recorder to record TV shows on a daily basis, and it has worked wonders for me, as I love the fact that I can record on a DVD disc instead of videotape. I also purchased it, as I have a TV from 1996 that still works, and I didn't want to purchase a new TV to fit a machine that no longer worked with older TV sets, so it was also a money saver as well. The features are easy to work with, and the programming and settings are easy to use - the only drawback is that the time on the clock loses a few seconds after a while, but if you keep an eye on it, you should have no problems. I'm not an electronics wiz, but this item is highly recommended if you have an older TV set in which you record daily programs from!
