InterestsHow To Buy Jewelry Safely on Ebay
When you buy jewelry on Ebay, be very careful who you buy from. There are some very good sellers of jewelry on Ebay but some who will mislead you. A good indication is when they claim to sell genuine Diamonds, sapphires or tanzanite for $1.99. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Be wary of words like created. That means that they are not natural gemstones. If they use the word plating or plated make sure it is rhodium or platinum plated. Anything else is costume jewelry or you are not getting 100% of the silver or gold they are selling. Some sellers pass off cubic zirconia for real gemstones. I sell cubic zirconia at times but I will always tell you this and not try to pass it off as a genuine gemstone and my prices reflect the difference. Also, make sure the seller has a refund policy, if not, forget them. Though it is not always a good indication, check their feedback. If there is less than a 99% rating, read it and find out why.Be a smart and careful shopper.

When You Receive Fake Jewelry You Thought Was Real
Ebay is really working hard on this to make sure you get what you are paying for but they cannot police every listing. So it is up to the buyer when they purchase an item that is fake that the seller claims is real, report them to Ebay. Even if you only paid $1.00 for the item. Every time that seller is not reported, it gives him freedom to dupe the next buyer, then the next and so on. If more buyers reported these sellers to Ebay, it would be an even safer place to buy. So Buyers: PLEASE REPORT THEM and help get them off Ebay or at the very least, make them stop misleading the buyers.
