What everyone should know about me
Del Gue buys and sells household items for his family. He also builds, repairs and services guitar amplifiers as well as musical reproduction electronics for his combo band. His wife, Joy quilts for a hobby and has many for sale.
Things I sell
The photo is a hand-built reproduction of an early 50's Fender Deluxe amplifier. It is powered by a 5Y3 rectifier and has one 6SC7 preamp tube with a second 6SC7 as the paraphase inverter for a pair of 6V6 output tubes. The chassis and transformers are manufactured by Hammond, but the cabinet and blonde tolex covering were done by Del Gue using Fender type oxblood speaker cloth. The speaker cabinet was expertly crafted by Griffiths and contains a 12inch Jensen alnico speaker. This little Deluxe mini-stack produces 18 watts and breaks up warmly at about half power to sound very much like Joe Walsh's early James Gang music.
