Overall a great bang for the $
While the camera is not the best in its class, the price is stunning and this thing can be head for about 220$ on ebay new open box. Likes: great zoom, fits well in your hand. Takes good quality pics. Dislikes: Slow to focus in dark conditions. slow power on. Rather heavy for its class. (tried few of these in its class and this is rather heavy. Probably because of 4 rather then 2 batteries.) The good news is that 4 aa rechargeable last a great while! :) Last but not least: The SD door is not locked shut, but is behind a spring loaded door. The door is on the bottom of the camera, and every time, I think that I will brake the door! :( Who ever thought of this, is ..... Once again, if you have the money to spend, I would get the Panasonic dz7. Much better camera, but also about 100$ more! If you are on a budget, but need the zoom etc, get this. Very nice unit overall.
