I love photography and I love my work. I'm a career missionary and have been since 1970. Ebaying helps keep me on the field (Mexico). I love, love, love my job. I love the people here. I shall NEVER retire if I can help it.

Classic camera stuff, mostly SLRs from the 70s, and sometimes a few odds and ends that I pick up or have lying around. I'm gonna open an Ebay store real soon and sell completely unrelated stuff - motivational stuff with a Christian flavor (music and reading). The product lines are Activated and Aurora - the best in the biz and the only Christian stuff that has a strong following both in and out of the Christian community.

Classic camera stuff, mostly 70s and a bit of 60s, mostly SLRs and lenses, mostly to resell. But of course I play with them for a bit first, in the guise of field testing, heheh.

Well, nothing really. I'd probably collect cameras if I had lots of money. It hurts to sell a valuable item that I got for next to nothing. But, I need to sell, and besides it's not good to amass items. It clutters your brain without you even realizing it or knowing why. Try this sometime: clean out your whole place, get rid of everything that you think you should, and watch your brain inexplicably clarify. Keep your Ebay inventory to a minimum. Sell stuff as fast as you buy it, and see how clear your head stays. Let stuff pile up and feel the cotton balls accumulate in your brain.

English, French, German, Spanish

Photography, personal evangelism (as opposed to preaching to crowds), Ebaying, ... Don't have a lot of hobbies really, no time for them. I like to take long walks. I'd say hiking but die-hard hikers are always looking for the next big challenge and that's not me. I would prefer a relatively easy hike even if it's many many miles. To me hiking isn't about meeting challenges, it's about the hike. Or the walk if you prefer to call it that. Meeting people. Making new friends. My career (see above) is ideally suited for that. I meet all kinds of interesting people from all walks of life. Mexicans value frienship and I love that about them, and they are unconditional about it, none of this --provided I'm interested in your religion-- business. Course I'm never pushy with it, I think that's bad news and has turned millions of people off. If anything I'm too much the opposite extreme, almost too reticent. But maybe that helps make up for some of those other loudmouths.

The Bible, The Lord of the Rings, The Oxford Book of Christian Verse, The Norton Anthology of English Literature, some of Grisham's stuff (only read a few so far but I like them), and did I mention the Bible? And probably a few more that I can't remember just now. The reason the Bible rates a double mention (OK, I guess that's triple now) is because it's the ONLY book you can read dozens of times and still not get bored with it and still want to read it again. I've read it around 75 times and I'm still discovering new things every time. And yes I'm an old curmudgeon who still likes the King James. Anyone who can read Shakespeare can understand the King James ten times easier (at least a lot of it).

Too many to list. All the predictable ones for an old sap - Dr Zhivago, Ben Hur, some of the recent Jesus movies like the one with Jeremy Sisto in it, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, some period pieces, some Jane Austen, can't even remember what else.

Classical is my next-to-fave, close behind a very limited selection of Christian music by unknown artists; bluegrass; some of the old hymns, at least when they're sung with verve and not the way they sing'm in church; country gospel, but not regular country music; bits and pieces of the following: easy listening, 50's rock and roll, 60's, old time grand ole opry.
