I started out running a TV station in High School. That led to DJ'ing. I started DJ'ing during my Junior year. (1989-90) I did an 8 week internship at 96.3FM in Detroit at the end of my Senior year. That summer I started DJ 'D' Entertainment. I started out doing school dances. In 1994, I hooked up with a local company that did Bars & Weddings. I spent just over a year with them, learning from them. Then, in 1997 I hooked up with a bigger Wedding company and spent 3 years with them. I perfected my skills and even became a manager and trainer with them. Since 2000, I have mainly stayed on my own, sub-contracting when needed. In 2004, most of my equipment & music was stolen. I spent 2 years in Grand Rapids, and now I'm back in the Detroit area to rebuild.
