Hello again, I am the Dollshouse- in- a- wardrobe Granny,started in September.Just to let you know it is now finished and is wonderful! It has three floors.(Kitchen,Dining room,Parents bedroom,Nursery,Drawing room,and bathroom.)All are now furnished,and we are just waiting for toilet-roll holder and the last three rugs,and it's complete.I have had such a good time wallpapering,painting,laying carpets,fixing fireplaces and deciding where to arrange the furniture,even to would they allow a dog in the drawing room?(Decided they would!)Thanks to Karen who supplied so much of the gorgeous things in the house. Just hope my Grandaughters enjoy it as much as I do !

Hello.I'm a 72 granny to 11 grandchildren,5 of whom are under little girls under 9 years.I was a war kid,and came from a pretty hard-up family,so my sister and I had very few toys!I have always wanted to have Dolls House for the grandaughters,but the size I wanted was prohibitive .Then I heard the other day,a talk on the radio,in which an authoress told how her father had made her a dolls house out of an old cupboard.SUDDENLY ! Inspiration! We have a fitted double wardrobe in the spare room,hardly used.So a brilliant friend of ours is fitting one side as a six-roomed dolls house.AM I HAVING FUN! As a child I had to share a dolls house with my two sisters, so you can imagine how much it means to me to have my very own.I now have two dolls houses one from a charity shop which I am having great pleasure re-decorating and furnishing it, the second a new one which my husband has assembled for me. I enjoy browsing Karnes show and have found most of the things I need., she has been very helpful,and all items I have purchased are 1st class. I used to work with the elderly until I had to retire from ill health, so my dolls house hobby, together with baking characters cakes helps me through the down days. Hi I am a 55yr old grandmother on 1. I have just bought my very own dolls house, as a child I had to share with my 2 sisters so its heaven now I have my own.I have been very pleased with all I have purchased from this seller and enjoy browsing her shop regulary. I have been agorophobic for the past 10yrs, and have just started to go out with a member of my family or close friend.
