I started my Internet doll business in 1994 and joined eBay in their first year. I'm the owner of Katherine's Cottage (The Enchanted Cottage of Dolls, Bears and Gifts) in Northern California, as well as Katherine's Cottage of Dolls on eBay and the Katherine's Cottage web site. We (my husband Russ is my business partner) sell dolls from antique to modern. We literally have thousands of dolls in stock at any time! We pride ourselves on our deep inventory, our personalized service, and our fast shipping. In 2005 my book, The Official Price Guide to Dolls was published, and I'm currently working on the second edition (which won't be out till 2008). I've been the Guide to Doll Collecting at About.com for over seven years. There, you can learn nearly anything about dolls!

Shipping information
We strive to ship all orders within two business days, and most orders go out the next business day. All of our items are sent in outer shipping boxes and well packed. We ship all orders UPS, although we will ship certain items out of box (such as small doll clothing) in padded envelopes via USPS) by cutomer request to save shipping costs. This will delay shipping a bit. We ship internationally.
