Fundraising
We always accept donations if you ever care to help. We'll always tell you exactly what your donation goes toward and send pictures when and if we can. Sometimes the funds go for general medications that might go for all the dogs held in the rescue until adoption. Other funds are used on specific rescued Dals that we can send you photos of...both before and after...meaning, what they look like when we bring them into rescue, and what they look like after we have had them vetted, fed properly and shown a whole lot of love before they go to their forever home
In loving memory...
Without the two dogs pictured above...Jasper and Jewel..this rescue probably would never have been started. They were our first Dals and the whole reason DOTS came to be. Jewel went to The Rainbow Bridge at the age of 9 on May 25, 2006 after a short bout with cancer, Jasper, at the age of 15 joined her the same day. They were always together in life and will never be parted..even in death.
A million times we've needed them, a million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved them, they never would have died.
In life we loved them dearly, in death we love them still.
In our hearts they hold a place, no other Dal can ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose them, but they didn't go alone.
A part of DOTS went with them, the day God took them home.
