I'm an artist. I love painting -- mostly animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. I paint your pet and put it on a clock or a print for you at no extra charge, just the cost of the clock or print & shipping.

All things animal, pet, dog, cat, horse, etc.: I make: ART CLOCKS, 8 x 10 PRINTS, ACEO's, using my own artwork on the clock faces.

Art supplies, paints, brushes, novels written in French, classic English language novels, shipping supplies, Christmas & birthday gifts.

I love to read, take long walks every day, sometimes for miles, visit with other artists at art shows, travel, spend time with my family, human and animal.

I'm reading French and English classic novels at this time. I am not interested in current authors -- and, yes, I've read a few and always find that the classic authors are such for a good reason: they've withstood the test of time. To me, seeing how an author artistically combines words on the page is even more important in the long run than the story. Most recent book: Madame Bovary, by Flaubert; L'exil et le royaume, by Camus; Other Voices Other Rooms, by Truman Capote.

Again, the classics, with some -- no, many -- cult favorites in the mix. A quick list: Gone with the Wind, Beetlejuice, Little Shop of Horrors, Dr. Zhivago, Napoleon Dynamite, To Wong Foo with Love, Julie Neumar (that title might not be exactly right), Night of the Iguana, everything Tennessee Williams -- -- and many more I can't think of at the moment.

All music. From classical, which I guess is my overall favorite, to blue grass (I love bluegrass), to rap, hip-hop, some country/western (the old, classical stuff), blues (again, the old stuff), '60's and '70's rock, folk (but NOT pop stuff!). Music from other countries, cultures. Pretty much everything except American pop.

Grey's Anatomy, Lost, (I'm hooked on these two!), CBS's Sunday Morning (which I've been watching as long as it's been on the air -- I cannot recommend it highly enough), 60 Minutes (again, since its inception), things on the history channel, Ugly Betty (give it a chance-- it's great).

I have been an artist since 1993, when I left the academic world, where I had spent almost my entire adult life. I always was a hobby artist, my entire life, but never thought I could make a living at it. But when my first husband died unexpectedly, leaving me with a small daughter to care for, I needed a profession where I could make a living but yet be there with her. Art as a profession became a logical, and perfect, choice. I still enjoy learning, of course, and occasionally volunteer-teach somewhere, but I've never regretted for a moment becoming a full-time artist. And now much of my learning is how to become an even better artist -- and person! It's a lifetime educational goal!

I began creating and selling my artwork in 1993. My first works were papier mache sculptures of,you guessed it, animals. I later moved on to sculpting in clay, and most recently, I've begun to do paintings as well. I've been a full-time artist since the autumn of 1996, when I finally felt I could support myself and my family, and so quit my day job. I've been doing so since that time and have never regretted the career move.

Paypal preferred, but I'll also take personal checks and money orders with advance notice to me.

I ship as quickly as I can, usually within two to three days.

I have a very limited return policy. Each item is different, so check listings. If something arrives to you broken, it's because the shipper, usually USPS, goofed up because my packing is excellent and I've never (yet) had any item broken in transit. So, again, I would have to treat each incident separately. I always, always describe an item in minute, exact detail, so you know what you're buying ahead of time, so there shouldn't be any reason for you to need to return an item.
