THE LINEN DIVA ~ doverhilldiva~ tells you much. Divas are demanding, discerning and pampered. Only the best. The face of the Linen Diva is great grandmother Elizabeth, circa 1900 ~ half French, half English. She laid the groundwork.

Only enough to fund my collecting habit. Therefore everything I sell I bought with an eye to keep. So you get what I like ~ the best linens, laces, and textiles I can find.

A life long linen and antique collector, and a retired journalist, I sell only to support my collecting jones.

I prefer online payment, but will happily take money orders and cashiers checks. I expect to be paid within three days, or to have been contacted to tell me payment is on the way.

I have a handling time of up to two days after payment. I launder and press most of my linens just before shipment to send the best items I can. Shipping from The Linen Diva is always the best way possible, acid free tissue, bubble wrap or solid foam, whatever it takes. There is never a packing or handling charge. That is on us. Buyers pay only the actual shipping and insurance.

I accept returns always if I have inadvertently misrepresented the item. I accept them SOMETIMES if a buyer just doesn't like what they bought. In the first case, I refund shipping also. In the second case, I only refund the purchase price. That includes people who don't understand there is a difference between antiques and Macy's. Buyers MUST contact me within three days of receiving their items and the items must not be tampered with in any way, laundered, used, or the like.
