eBay My World: dowannabe( 5300)

I have been an active ebayer since 1999 and I am real proud to say I do all my shopping on ebay ,even Christmas ,it is and has been a wonderful experience for me ,I spend about 10 hours a day either reseaching items ,listing boxing up or just ebaying

When we buy estates the furniture goes to my shop, yard sale items are donated and everything else will be found on ebay, or in my store, so there is always a wide varity of antiques collectible Home Decor, toys and clothes, I also spend quite a bit of time at estate auctions and sales

I have my first grandson so I buy for him gift items ALL my shipping supplies are found here, no need to go anywhere else its all here, I also buy my wardrobe here

When I need a break from ebay I play video poker on line and have met people from all over the world and really enjoy the chat boxes, I also enjoy refinishing furniture, researching antiques is also a fun thing to do

After collecting for years we opened a store ,we started with just antiques and there were days we didn't see a soul so we filled it with a little bit of everything from antiques home decor ,toys linens clothes collectibles records books and have been in business for 6 years.The Old Store participates in a Coast to Coast yard sale on Historical Hwy 80 and many venders set up here ,eventually it will reach coast to coast ,right now it goes from Vicksburg to Dallas ,

I work for an auctioneer as ticket writer for the last 10 years and this was a wonderful learning experience ,I spend a lot of time researching on line and in my vast collection of research books on Antiques and collectibles .my husband retired from General motors and ebay has helped to suppliment his income ,and ebay helps make my truck payment ,I had a car all paid for and when my son turned 16 he crashed it into 5 trees on Christmas eve ,he walked away but my car was totaled ,so thank you ebay for making my life a little easier

Love that paypal ,it makes things so much easier ,in my years of ebaying I have only received 1 bad check ,I still accept checks and wait the 7 to 10 days before mailing ,Money order is also good

When it comes to packing up fragile items ,I pack items in the same way I would like to receive them ,Most shipping labels I print online so there will be shipping information at auction site ,I use the best shipping service available or lowest price ,I am flexible and try to ship items out the very next day payment has been made , ,I always leave feedback after I receive it so if you want feedback from me please do so first

,Most items are sold as is found condition with minor dust removal ,if it is an antique ,descriptions and photos show exact item being listed ,Electronic items I do offer a money back with both way shipping if I am not able to test it before shipping ,if item is not exactly as expected ,I will work with you to make it right ,but no refund on shipping

my grandson was born this year and I was able to put together a beautiful antique set of silverware in less than 6 months for his first Christmas ,without ebay it would of taken years, I had an old civil War map in store for 5 years ,it was laminated onto board ,I listed it on ebay and it sold for about $40.00 .When winner got it he found a campsite that was not documented ,he got permission to dig in site and found some civil war relics , I had a stationary box which I purchased for contents at auction ,When I saw cover of box I knew I had to list the empty ,it was a lithograph from Gone With Wind ,it sold for over $400.00 and made my truck payment, .When Katrina hit we were all so devastated ,I listed a book 3 days after with 100% going to victims it was a photograph book of New Orleans in Black and white from 1970s ,it sold for $610.00 ,I was so proud to be a part of that fund raiser ,When I do list items for charities it will always be 100%going to the cause

I do have pets :a 45 pound pug named Harley which came to us after being cooped up in cage for his first 3 years of life ,he is like a child and he gets alot of attention when he is at my shop everyone just loves him ,I have a Rotweiler named Trigger who is 12 years old and has always been a gentle dog ,I think he was a gentleman in his past life,,we just lost a 12 year old gray wolf to bloating and she was triggers sole mate so A girl gave us a wolf mix puppy who is 6 months old for companionship but Smoke is to active ,my dogs are all house dogs so there is never a dull moment,We also have 2 cocktiels and outside a momma cat and she has created quite a family
