eBay My World: drautograf( 3095)

I am much more of a collector than a seller. I acquire many extras in adding to my collection and attempt to sell them on eBay.

I collect only Topps football (from around 1990 onward) and Topps baseball (every year since 1955 and the 1952, 53, & 54 archives).

I am surrounded by smooth jazz CDs but also like traditional jazz to a lesser extent (as well as a little of any other kind of music)...but I buy mostly smooth jazz, urban, or soft rock CDs

I am an agent for a nationally known act. I do not make my living (or barely any profit) from selling cards on eBay. So far, it is just a by-product of my hobby (I keep thinking people will discover my treasure trove of extra autographed cards and I will any day start selling a lot of eBay lots).

I accept PayPal. I send the cards the day I receive notice from them that the customer has paid. Cash or money orders are fine. I have accepted many checks and had maybe one bad one in 9 years. I generally send cards out the day I receive payment, no matter what the method of payment is.

With the recent change (5/2007) of shipping charges with the USPS I have just upped the basic cost of sending the cards to $2.50 ($3.50 for Canada and International), which does not include insurance. I will insure it if requested (since it requires standing in line at the post office I don't volunteer it). I send the cards protected by top loaders and then wrapped and then sent in a bubble pack. When multiple lots are purchased I often advise buyers to pay the priority mail price to have them sent in the box used for videos and books, which is usually less than the cost of sending two separate lots (as of 4/2009 that cost is $4.95 but the rates are rising again so it might be a little more in the near future).

If you receive the cards and immediately don't like them (which has never happened to me) and immediately contact me...I will take them back unequivocally, with no questions asked. If you contact me a few weeks later, or longer (which happened once), and decide you don't want them, I will not take them back under any circumstances...for about five different reasons.
