Make this your first Rumours!
For me, the appeal of remasters of this depth lies first in the improved fidelity of the product, the previously unheard "bonus" tracks at admittedly various levels of completion, as well as the printed matter which lends a "bit more" (no digital pun intended) of a complete picture of the realities of the recording biz. In that order. Oh, and any inclusion of a live video performance is icing on the cake. Pink Floyd floored me with the remasters of 2011 I think that it was. The recording quality, if one's system can reveal the precision with a greater level of fidelity than an FM broadcast or a crushed MP3 version, treats the human ears and the mind to an aural feast nothing short of delicious/miraculous-at least on the first selection that I heard, that being Wish You Were Here. How they were able to put out a live from 1976 (if my mind serves correctly) concert in such superb form amazes me. This Fleetwood Mac is not the equivalent of the Floyd remaster example but it itself is no slouch. This selection offers alternate media which one can use to peek back to the seventies and for that reason alone, it is a success. One might argue that it is yet another method to sell the exact same title to those who have already owned it for decades, but in my own opinion, most remasters are worthy of the additional investment and promotes one to hope for and to wait for similar efforts from their other favorite bands. Again one wonders though if this is a labor of love from the group to the fans or merely a clever method (based on a whim of some nameless record mogul) to earn more from recordings completed so long ago. My hope is that it is driven by the former. That said, there are too sometimes included cuts or fragments that only a die-hard fan might enjoy. They are often born of a stored form lacking in the ultimate production values from the first release. The ability to access tracks not deemed of value THEN which form the basis for rediscovering that dated but never wholly produced material now results a sometimes limited level of success and satisfaction. Though this then provides the snippets for the hardcore fans, though sometimes does not shine as expert examples of performance or more accurately, recording quality. The Rumors disc was never marketed in a poor quality form, and this version seems to me to even improve upon that first release. The production of this selection are appreciated and it is worthy of purchase. It is just that some of the material does not appeal to me in the way that it might appeal to someone who actually witnessed the tour or is a deep fan of the Mac. Never the less, they are a valid part of musical history, reflecting great talent, and an altogether unique style. This style being the combination of instruments and the pleasing musical abilities of the prime instrumentalists' styles, truly unique then and now, and of course the sensual vocal abilities of each of the ladies fronting the group. The rich tenor of Ms Nicks has not been matched to this day. It seems to come from a place within her that is expressive only in terms of the heart. The harmonies though could have never touched a generation of listeners without the equally valuable talents of Ms Christine McVie. I hope that this reality is never lost in the translation. Their music, not my taste of "jamming" if you will, is so unique that it is one in and of itself. It defies comparison

NECA Evil Dead 2 Series 2 - Henrietta Action Figure
Aug 15, 2017
Nicely detailed!
Adult aged fans of the Evil Dead is for whom this product is intended. So please do not complain about the fine details included. Henrietta may contain fragile elements, but to me this scale rendition is very well rendered. This figure does not belong in any child's hands to be battle slammed into last year's toy-of-the-month. Pay attention to the ages-safety notice on the package. Cool product!
