One scary book...
As a fan of scary novels, I have read The Exorcist, Jaws and most of The Totem, but The Amityville Horror easily tops them as being the most scary. I became quite uncomfortable and uneasy when I read this book which is exactly what I was looking for. I think that it all depends on what religious beliefs you have and how strong they are for this to even affect you.
