Eastside Books started out as a brick and mortar store in East Austin, Tx, but a slow economy forced us to close our doors. Our online sales through Amazon were strong, so we decided to continue the dream by selling online. Thankfully, high fees drove us from Amazon and we switched to Ebay and Half.com. We've found that we enjoy Ebay the most, primarily because we feel it is a closer connection to our customers. We love communication and sorely miss the one-on-one contact with the public, so don't hesitate to ask us questions or contact us for any reason.

We accept PayPal only.
Shipping information
Shipping is always via USPS, and charges will vary. Please remember that Media Mail is slow and is often not scanned the day we drop it at the Post Office, but be assured that we drive your package down to Tanya, our friendly Postal Worker, and hand it to her personally. Tracking numbers are not posted on the USPS web site until the first time it is scanned through...which might be not be until it goes through the main sort facility.
We only add a $1.00 handling fee above what the Post Office charges, which is for gas or Mountain Dew...whichever we think is more important at the time.

All sales are final, but we want you to be satisfied. If you have an issue, please contact us and we will do what we can to make it right.

Packaging
We strive for a greener world, so we proudly use recycled materials whenever we can...but you can be assured that your items will arrive watertight and carefully packed. With LOTS of tape. Also (and this is important) Media Mail is subject to Postal inspection - which means your package might be opened before you get it. We cannot take responsibility for how the Post Office re-packages your shipment, so if you are concerned please contact us before shipment and we can discuss Priority Shipping or Parcel Post.
