Webtelly started in 1999 as a simple concept: In 1998 I had started putting streaming videos on my website before anyone had even thought of You Tube. Google was in its infancy. The next year was 1999 and I opened an eBay account.

We have grown. Since 1999, I have traveled the world, met and married my Japanese wife, and grown my eBay business. Now, we sell only the good stuff, including the best HDTV available.

I mostly sell these days. We are moving up to boats, houses, land, and cars.

Oddly enough, I collect pottery shards. Call me weird, but if I find an open field where a house was torn down or burned down a long time ago, I play archaeologist on the pottery fragments!

I like playing poker, playing Magic the Gathering, writing novels, and dabbling in new art forms. My latest creation is a large white ceramic crock pot with golf balls in it. It is titled, A Fore Course Meal.

I am biased toward my first novel, Rich Man's Coffin. After that, I say all of Michael Crichton's work. His first novel, The Andromeda Strain, was the first novel that I read at age 12. It really inspired me to read and write. Great novel!

I have not seen The Andromeda Strain, but I know that I would like it. My taste is a little on the bizarre side: I loved Unbreakable (They call me Mr. Glass!), Casino, Mission Impossible 2, Magnolia, Fight Club, and Monster's Ball. Call me weird!

Okay, I am a TV nut, I admit it. I am torn up that ER is coming to an end. I have watched that show since my son was born. Number 2 is LOST, number 3 is Boston Legal, then the entire Thursday night lineup on NBC.

My eBay account did not get much action for the first few years, simply because I did not realize the power of eBay. Then my Aunt of all people showed me how it was done. She opened an art gallery on eBay and became a PowerSeller making over $50,000 per year. So, in the last few years, I have bumped up my game, moving into high-end electronics. Webtelly specializes in HDTV.

PayPal is all we do, because we ship big items. That requires a confirmed address.

Shipping is usually by freight because any TV over 42 inches requires freight. Anything 42 inches or under goes by UPS. Shipping charges for each item are clearly displayed in the description.

We allow returns in good condition for exchange of merchandise within 30 days of first shipping. That gives you plenty of time to inspect the package, open and use the product, and make an intelligent decision.
