Having been an eBay user for 21 years, I must say that my recent experience has been the worst. Despite spending $750, none of the involved parties were cooperative. Ultimately, after several attempts, eBay was able to issue a refund. The seller never shipped the item, and eBay declined to cancel the transaction as the seller had indicated that the item was already shipped. The seller's lack of communication was appalling, and given the high-value item, more professionalism was expected.
