All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I only use clean recycled packing materials. I spend time & effort preparing the items for shipping; I try to put them into plastic in case the USPS leaves packages outside. I also wash and disinfect all items bought from estates whenever possible.

Other Interests
I am actively involved in my chuch and strive to put God first in my life and business. I use whatever opportunities He gives me to tell others about Jesus Christ since He has given me a new life and outlook. I'm also active with the local Literacy Council and have taught adults to read, individually and in group settings. I presently teach ESL at two local area businesses and thoroughly enjoy the challenge; it also provides an opportunity to practice my Spanish.
Business InformationHistory/background
With your help, I was able to reach the red star in just over a year with 100% positive feedback. I have found most of my experiences to be good ones, and have learned from the not-so-good ones. Prior to selling on eBay, I spent 8 yrs working at a distribution center where I learned much about packing, customer relations, and digital camera use. I have always enjoyed shopping garage sales for my home & family needs. Being vintage myself, I fondly remember the things of that era, many of which were made better and hence last longer than today's products. I like to find similar items at estate and garage sales to bring to my eBay buyers. I have a policy to pay their asking price and not try to talk them down as some dealers do. After all, everyone can win in this business!
Payment policy
PayPal is preferred, since it is a safe method and the seller is able to ship quicker; it is the only method I accept for outside of the U. S. transactions. Money orders are also accepted, to accomodate those who don't like to do monetary transactions over the internet. Personal checks are not accepted at this time since they require a waiting period to clear.
Shipping information
All items are shipped within two days, most by the next day. I try to look at things from the viewpoint of the buyer: if it's paid for, they want it soon. If I am printing up shipping labels and someone pays right then, I try to include their item in the day's mailing. I generally use Parcel Post since the buyer saves money, and First Class for anything under 13 oz. The exceptions to this are smaller boxes (under 2 lbs. and 1 cubic foot) which cost less by Priority Mail, items of greater value, or when the customer wants it quickly. I have found variations in receiving time with all methods, due to volume and other factors. I like customers to contact me when their package arrives by leaving feedback, a message, or both. Only when it is in their hands do I feel the transaction is complete. Pick up is also avaiable, and I am willing to try and accomodate anyone who will be in the general area.
Return policy
I do not have a fixed policy for this. Since I sell mostly vintage items that I try to photograph and describe well, they are being sold as is; I think most buyers understand this. Only if there is major flaw that was not mentioned or something that I was not aware of (since I am not an expert in all I sell) then I would consider a return. (Please do not bid on items so you can try them out first or decide you shouldn't have spent your money on them.) Buyer will pay postage back to me; upon reception, I will refund original cost + original postage. I strive to make buyers happy and have given refunds at times to compensate for my errors in judgement. My hope is that future customers will cooperate in this area, so everyone can have a profitable experience.
